As a kid, Hinduism intrigued me. Why did we celebrate Diwali? What was the significance of the Gayatri Mantra? And most importantly — why did all of our dharmic morals matter?

After binge-watching Mahabharat, I began researching on my own, and my love for the culture only grew — all the way to reading contemporary novels based on the original stories.

In middle school, I noticed other Hindu kids my age didn't have the same opportunities I did growing up. Kids in my generation usually aren't interested in things that look "boring" — so I found a way to engage and educate better. My passion for teaching kids and my religion inspired me to start my own classes, and to make a difference in our community.
